Good credit history – includes reviewing the credit score as well as their total debt liabilities.
-
Good rental history – we communicate with previous landlords of applicants to confirm rental payment history along with what condition they kept and returned the property in.
Will Legacy Management list my home for rent?
Legacy Management specializes in managing your home. We can happily refer you to a local real estate expert to assist in the process of marketing your home for rent and will work in conjunction with them to process and approve applicants. Our services start once a lease between you and tenants is signed.
How much will my property lease for?
Your lease rate is going to be determined by several market factors including the condition of the property, location, and the rental rates for competing homes in the immediate area. The factors that dictate lease rates vary vastly from market to market. Please request a market valuation so we can provide you with an estimated figure.
How do property inspections work?
Inspections of the property are completed by the property manager along with the tenants during the move in and move out period. Some lease also requires an inspection six months after lease start.
How often will I hear from my property manager?
Communication frequency depends on owner’s preference. Some prefer to hear from us every time something occurs with the home and some prefer us to handle decisions on their behalf entirely. Your property manager will work with you to understand your wants and needs related to communication. Communication from us is typically through our portal system, via email, and/or text.
